Disney Announces Release Dates for Eight New Marvel Movies – MCU Phase 4

Disney has recently announced the upcoming MCU movies with their release dates, for a couple of years. Avengers coming together once more for a total of eight more MCU movies across 2022-23. These eight movies will also include Black Panther 2.

As per Disney’s release schedule, which was unveiled on Friday night, we will be happy 8 new movies in MCU Phase 5, at least for the start of phase 5. Also, currently you can watch nearly 23 marvel movies on Disney Plus right now.

For the next year i.e 2020, we will be having Black Widow on May 1 and The Eternals on November 6. In 2021, The Legends Of The Ten Rings and Shang Chi will be released on February 12. Similarly, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, Spider-Man 3 on July 16  and finally Thor: Love and Thunder on Nov. 5.

And yes, probably there will Avengers 5, possibly named “The New Avengers”

For the year 2022, a total of four movies is planned by Disney. These include Black Panther 2 which will be released on May 6 and three more untitled movies planned to get released on Feb. 18, July 29 and Oct. 7 respectively.

Lastly, in 2023, four more Marvel movies are scheduled for release on Feb. 17, May 5, July 28 and Nov. 3. About the untitled movies in 2022 and 2023, these could be Ant-Man 3, Blade, Captain Marvel 2 and  Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

There are fair chances of A Force –  an all-female Avengers-style team inspired by the  comic books – Champions. In this, we could see a younger Avengers team including Ms. Marvel and Miles Morales from Into the Spider-Verse and Deadpool 3.

Now, coming to the recently launched Disney Plus Streaming service, the following movies will be available to watch:

  • The Falcon and Winter Soldier in fall 2020
  • Wanda Vision in spring 2021
  • Loki in spring 2021
  • Marvel’s What If…? in summer 2021
  • Hawkeye in fall 2021
  • Apart from all these, rest of the Disney content for 2020  includes :
  • Pixar’s Onward on March 6, 2020
  • The live-action Mulan on March 27, 2020
  • New Mutants on April 3, 2020
  • Artemis Fowl on May 29, 2020
  • Pixar’s Soul on June 19, 2020
  • Jungle Cruise on July 24, 2020
  • Raya and the Last Dragon on Nov. 25, 2020.

There are four untitled Disney live-action movies planned for 2021. These are slated for March 12, July 30, Aug. 10 and Nov. 19.One of these untitled movies could be The Little Mermaid. Another set includes Cruellaon May 28, an untitled Pixar movie on June 18, the next Indiana Jones on July 9, an untitled Disney animation on Nov. 24 and finally Avatar 2 on Dec. 17.

For the year 2022, there will be the following releases:

  • Two untitled Pixar animations on March 11 and June 17
  • Five Disney live actions on March 25, May 27, July 8, Aug. 12 and Nov. 4
  • One Disney animation on Nov. 23
  • An untitled Star Wars movie on Dec. 16.

Finally, in 2023, Disney has planned to release total of six live-action movies. These will get released on March 10, May 26, July 14, Aug. 11, Oct. 6 and Dec. 15 respectively. There will be one Disney animation on Nov. 22, one untitled Pixar animation on June 16 and Avatar 3 on Nov. 22.

Moreover, the King’s Man – the Kingsmen prequel is also delayed by Disney from Feb. 14 to Sep. 18
