MCU Phase 4: Marvel Announces Dates of Upcoming Movies Including Black Widow, Eternals, Thor 4

All the Marvel fans out there!! Brace yourself as we have the good news for you. Recently, at Marvel’s Comic-Con 2019 panel, finally, we got to know what is coming up in Phase 4, after the Endgame. The president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has announced the release dates of all new upcoming Marvel Movies and shows along with the other details.

Marvel calls it Phase 4 and it will start with the release of Black Widow on May 1, 2020 which will be followed by Eternals on November 6, 2020. Although, all the release dates are not announced at the event, but we also get to know about the other movies including Blade, Fantastic Four and the X-Men.

Fiege confirmed that the Eternals will be directed by Chloe Zhao and according to him; it will be “full Jack Kirby”.

Zhao herself added that “just really really wanted to make a Marvel movie for so long. This film is about this group of incredible immortals but through their journey, we really get to see what it means to be human.”

The actor from the most popular show Game of Thrones Robb Stark aka Richard Madden who will play the character Ikaris revealed that the movie Eternals is about a group of “immortal aliens, sent to earth by the celestials to protect Earth from the Deviant.” Madden said, “I play Ikaris, the sexiest Eternal.”

Eternals will be followed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings. According to Feige 10 Rings has always been in the MCU and also the real Mandarin is upset with the imposter showcased in Iron Man 3. About the cast, it is confirmed that Tony Leung will play Mandarin and Awkwafina will also be in the movie, although the role has not been revealed yet. Also, Destin Daniel will direct Shang-Chi and Sime Liu will be seen in the lead role of Shang-Chi.

After a year of releasing the above-mentioned movies, that is on May 7, 2021, Doctor Strange will also make a comeback in its second movie known as Doctor Strange 2: In the Multi-universe of Madness. The actor Benedict Cumberbatch aka Dr. Stephen Strange marked his presence on the stage during the Marvel Comic-Con panel and said he’d be faced with horrors, unlike anything he’d encountered before. Along with Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch will also play some role in the movie and also the events of Wanda and  Vision Disney+ TV series will collaborate.
