We know how important the makeup is in the life of a woman. It consumes a lot of time. And most of the times, the results turn out to be frustrating. Wings go north and south whereas the eye shadow is just not in the shape. Sometimes you even have to go and wash your face because it is not baked, but burned.
We know how big this issue is. We are concerned about your time and efforts and therefore we bring you forward the life saving make up hacks.
Getting rid of blackheads and exfoliating your skin
Exfoliating your skin twice a week is recommended by professionals. But it’s always safe to use products that are low on chemicals. It is best to use natural products. Go to your kitchen and find rice flour. It is the best scrub you can find handy. Mix it with milk or curd and a pinch of turmeric. Scrub your face and your lips. Wash your face with water.
You can also exfoliate your lips when you brush your teeth in the morning. You just have to lightly brush your lips to get rid of the dry layer on your lips. And then, wash off.
It’s time to prime your face
When you start applying your makeup, we want to let you know that you cannot use the foundation on your face directly. You need to moisturize your face and prime it. You can use any moisturizer you have in your vanity box. Primers are expensive in the market and not everyone can afford it.
Just in case you did not know, Aloevera Gel can be used as a primer because of its sticky consistency. It creates a layer and does not allow the foundation to enter the pores on your face and clog them.Just after you have moisturized your face, wait for five minutes then apply a very little amount of Alovera gel on your face and eyes.
Correctly applying makeup to your eyes
The first thing that attracts anyone is your eyes and you want your eye makeup to look flawless and beautiful. But every time you try to do your eye make, you end up having the particles of your eye shadow under your eyes and your cheeks. You get eye covers in the market to cover the under eye section. But there’s one hack that would save you a lot of money.
Before starting the eyeshadow, you need to stick a Scotch Tape below your eyes. And you proceed with your makeup. And then, all you need is a fluffy brush, the one that you use to put on the blush on your cheeks. When you are done applying your shades, you need to brush off the excess from your face softly. You can also use the trick below to have a nice finished eye makeup.
Drawing straight wings
To draw a proper wing is equal to going on a war. You either draw a proper wing or you lose it all. The tape technique is famous, easy and gets your eyeliner drawn quickly.
All you need is a scotch tape. You put the tape on the edge of your eyebrow and your eye creating a slanting line. (Refer to the image below)
REMEMBER: YOU APPLY THE EYESHADOW FIRST AND THEN THE EYELINER.
Making the eyes look bigger
The trend of using white liner is hyped for a reason. It does make your eyes appear big. You can replace white eye liner instead of the kohl you apply on your lower eyelash lid. It does wonders. Also, if you don’t like the white liner trick, try not to join the wings of your upper lid and lower lid. Keep a fine distance between them.
Making a lipstick stay longer on lips
Apply some lip balm before you wear your matte lipstick. It will keep your lips from drying.
If you want your lipstick to last long, try putting foundation through the tissue paper after you have applied the lipstick. This makes the lipstick last longer than usual.
Applying the highlighter evenly
Don’t have the fan brush to apply your highlighter? Use your very own fingers to evenly apply the highlighter on your face.
